DMAA and the National Association of Manufacturers have collaborated on a wellness and chronic care toolkit for employers. This comprehensive resource, available here as a free Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) download, can help you navigate the many choices for wellness and chronic disease management programs in the workplace. The toolkit, Wellness, Disease and Care Management: Background for Developing a Business Strategy, includes issue briefs on common strategies for wellness and chronic disease programs, typical delivery models, measuring return on investment and other key topic areas; guidance on the RFP process for finding and contracting with disease management and other health promotion services; and other valuable resources, including a glossary and sample employee education tools.
